Year in Review: Life After My Lay-off

A year ago, I was laid off. What happened after is also a miracle.

Above is a photo Zach took of me about a year ago. It was a day after I was laid off.

My smile is big, but I was super scared. I was incredibly afraid of the unknown. Yes, no one was dying, but I also had been working so profoundly hard to return to my life as I had known it. To a place where I felt secure… and losing my job rocked my foundation.

It’s been a challenging and wonderful year all at the same time.
