It’s pretty scary to read “ICU team called for unresponsiveness and no brain reflex” in your own chart. Buckle up- talking all things magic, spirituality, mediumship, and more.
Dearest Lovely RDG Readers,
Thrilled to be a guest on the popular Magic Is Real podcast hosted by Shannon Torrence, digging into near-death, spirituality, and how almost dying a handful of times changed my outlook on life and turned me into an advocate.
Almost dying tapped me into something incredibly powerful and while it’s not always easy for a former skeptic like me to talk about… it’s nonetheless so important.
And to be real, I’m still a skeptic - there’s a lot of shifty folks out there, but I’m not skeptical about what lies beyond.
But first, are you in LA? Come join me Tuesday night, May 20th at 8pm at the Valley Relic Museum for a night of short pieces in support of Mental Health Month. Produced by the Rogue Artists Ensemble and sponsored by the LA Department of Mental Health and CA Mental Health Authority, I’ve written a piece entitled All In Your Head inspired by a few incredibly spooky days in the hospital starring the amazing talents of Makinna Ridgway, Levi Petree, Tom Detrinis, and Zach Lupetin (who was there when it all went down).
And it’s FREE! Please come and say hi! I’d love to meet you! More info and RSVP details here.

I started writing this when I was on dialysis. It’s intended to be both memoir and a practical tool to help folks who might be going through something similar or those caregivers and family supporting someone with a challenging diagnosis. NOTE: This is not intended to replace actual medical guidance. Please consult your doctors on your individual challenges and situations. Please talk to your clinicians before adjusting any of your care protocols. Also names have been changed for most of my medical staff.
