When the fantasy in your mind doesn't quite match reality.

Hi Readers,

I wish I could tell you coming home was happy ever after. It certainly was a huge step forward… but it was hard. Especially my first 24 hours home.

This photo was taken of July when I was in the hospital. I would stare at it and dream of home with her. But the fantasy and the reality didn’t match because I was so very, very different.
